This morning I weighed in at 138.4. This is down 3.2 pounds from last week. This diet is definitely easier but I still don't enjoy it at all and have been to many activities this week with food I can't have which is always hard. Plus, I am going on vacation this week and it will be hard to bring all of my own food and not eat what everyone else is eating which usually involves dessert at lunch and dinner of every meal!
I hope I can make it these last 2 weeks! Plus, I have contacted my dietitian since I haven't noticed any change to see if going on will be worth it or not. She will hopefully respond soon!
Potty training was hard last week. Timmy only ended up going once with Justin really coaxing him, but he is just not interested. There were times he was more interested and told me he was ready, just to get in the bathroom and tell me he was done. Oh well, we will try again after our trip.
I took Allison to the doctor for her 18 month checkup and she was 22.1 lbs (20th percentile), 32.6 inches tall (90th percentile) and her head is still in the 20th percentile. Tall and skinny with a little head, that's my girl! I asked the doctor about potty training and he told me that I could potty train Allison first and it would probably give Tim a big push! My goal with Tim is to get him potty trained before he is 4. He will be 3.5 in October so we have a little wiggle room.
That's it for now!

I highly recommend "Potty train your
Child in Just One Day." Its approach is the only thing that worked for Sam, and he was about Tim's age.
I probably have the book here somewhere. If you want to read it, I can send it to you.
I hope your dietician call yous soon! If not, I'll have to bring you some yummy salsa I made with no sugar in it - just veggies. See you soon!
WOW! Way to go on the weight loss. I need to get more motivated. I was doing good, and since moving to PA have been struggling.
As far as the potty training goes. Braden started doing the same thing, saying he had to go and then going before we got to the bathroom. It took about a month or so of this for him to really catch on to the "feeling" and then one day he wanted to wear big-boys and did a great job of going potty. I think it's best to let him tell you when he's ready. I know it's frustrating because you just want them to be out of diapers, but when you force it, I've found that it just makes it worse. It sounds like he's on his way to getting there and when he's ready, he'll be ready and it will be so much easier for you. Good luck.
